Genèse: The world premiere production played at the Manchester Opera House from 10 September to 12 October. It opened in the West End at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 20 November 2019, following previews from 2 November.
Résumé: The story of & Juliet picks up from the iconic moment at the end of William Shakespeare’s legendary love tale, Romeo and Juliet. Rather than her persevering with the final, fatal act of the play, Juliet decides to down her dagger and begin the search for a better life. Along with Nurse, she takes to Paris with a group of friends and takes control of her story.
